Emblematic is a leading virtual, augmented and mixed reality production company, which specialises in creating full immersive experiences to place users directly in the picture.
Agency TK’s partnership with Emblematic began with a full rebrand, which included a new brand identity, brand guidelines and new marketing collateral such as document templates, business cards and email signatures. We were then tasked with designing and developing a website to convey Emblematic’s position at the forefront of cutting edge VR content creation.
Ranging from social impact pieces to brand-commissioned content and original news stories, each of Emblematic’s experiences is about education through engagement. We therefore wanted the homepage to reflect the impact of these pieces and showcase how the powerful technology enables users to interact with the scene in which they are situated.
At Agency TK, we believe in going ‘beyond boundaries’ to deliver over and above on a client’s brief; the Emblematic website is testament to that. Our development team chose to use a 360° interactive video, made using snippets of experiences created by Emblematic, on the homepage to immediately attract users’ attention and showcase the type and quality of material that the company produces. Desktop users can click and rotate the scene, while users with handheld devices can physically move their phone or tablet to watch the scene change around them. The site can also be used with VR goggles too!
This is a first for us at Agency TK – no other website we’ve launched has featured a 360° video. Emblematic also enables users to download the experiences through third party partners, such as Google Play, so as a whole it’s a fantastic achievement for the team.
