Establishing the brand from the inside out, we took this architecture firm beyond bricks and mortar by showcasing what their creations do for people and communities.
Undergoing a full Outhink™, we uncovered Portman’s essence, proposition, promise, vision, purpose, values and personality to illuminate the best way forward before constructing the rebrand design. From here we built a tone of voice to bring to life Portman’s progressive position in the industry and communicate how they design thoughtful structures with heart and soul. The verbal identity evolved from their previous focus on technical details to how their buildings were designed with surrounding communities, culture, environment and history at the heart of their beautiful solutions.
Our design captured how Portman’s creations inspire people to live better. For example, the photography style reveals how their spaces are being used and enjoyed by people rather than just showing the facade of the buildings. A bright red, impactful ‘spark’ icon was combined with a modern colour palette to show how their innovative creations will be enjoyed for years to come. We then designed and built a new website, marrying the new elements from the rebrand to create an inspiring platform to house their impressive creations.
